Submit to us
Send us your work : your sexiest, silkiest, naughtiest work : your full manuscripts : your short stories : your poetry : your love letters you ought to have burned : your multi-media projects with thought-provoking titles : your naughty pictures : your movies : your website, so we can become bedfellows.
Send us YOU.
I want bodies on paper.
Excite us. Submit to us. Turn us on. We'll publish you. We'll shout your art from our rooftops. We want to work with you, to watch you unfold, pistils showing, shoot for the sky. We believe gender and sexuality are universes of possibility and perpetual becoming. You do you. Write your own normal. Fuck traditional standards, fuck complacency, fuck the system that closes doors, minds, and legs, and yells that you can't. Let's reinvinvent the old spaces. Then create new spaces. Then let's smoosh them both together and freak everybody out.
Let's play with language.
Let's play with each other.
We're small but we're growing.
We are building this press with love, art, and fire.
Right now, there are only the two of us. (Though sometimes some very beautiful people help.) If we like it, we publish it. If it's not an exact fit for us, we'll probably tell you why. If you want more, let us know. If you want editing services, we do that too.
Send all submissions to email@example.com.
Please include the word submission in the title of your email.
We accept long pieces and short pieces. Anything under 5000 words will be considered for our online journal. It is absolutely free to submit to our online journal. Anything above 5000 will have to be submitted as a full-length manuscript with a reading fee of ten dollars. Fifteen, if you would like a copy of any of our available books. Please specify which one in the body of your email.
Send your manuscript as an attachment, or if it's short, within the body of the email.
Given the amount of manuscripts, please understand that a response will take some time.
Multiple submissions, simultaneous submissions are okay, encouraged. Just let us know if you've been accepted elsewhere.
We as a press are an all-inclusive space.
However, in order to submit, you have to have resided on this earth at least eighteen years.
We work very closely with all authors. We believe authors have a vision, and we're not going to go around and tinker until all we publish is an endless stream of watereddown vanitas.
Submit to us, and let us crawl into your words. Slap us across the face. Change us. Your work will not be unneccessarily corseted by word count, medium, or genre.
Sometimes we have contests.
We will accept genre fiction : historic, science fiction, and fantasy. But it's got to be good. And probably weird in some way. We love literature that skirts the edges of what language can do.
However, we do not accept horror stories.
All sex must be consensual, if it's written to entice. Rape can be a part of a character's narrative, but we will not publish a romanticization of it.
We are interested in defining, defiling, and defending barriers. This can be interpreted in an infinite number of ways, however, only the ways that suit us best will be considered for publication.
Please do not simply send us ugly, crass, or base smut. I mean, you can, but we probably won't pay much attention to it. We prefer art pieces: sexy, smutty art pieces. This line of demarcation is different for everyone, surely, but we are not a pornography site.
We are a journal both in print and online. At the moment, we are only accepting submissions for our online journal. These will be without a collective theme as they will be published as they are accepted. (Both volumes one and two are available online or for purchase. Read them, we implore you.) When we decide upon the theme of our next issue, we'll announce it on our contests page.
We regret this very much, but we are unable to offer monetary funds for pieces we publish on the website or in the volumes. This is subject to change. As we all are.
Thank the goddesses for that.
Upon pending publication of a book-length manuscript, royalities will be discussed.
You all have spoken. You want good erotica.
And we want to give it to you.
So please, give it to us.
